Projects and Components

To develop a GLASS data type, you will need to create or restore a GLASS Studio project. Each project generates a single JSON-formatted file (*.json) that contains the complete data type definition.

• Starting from a Data Type Example Project
  Use any one of the available data type example projects and customize it to suit your own data type requirements.
• Starting a New Project
  If you prefer to start with a blank canvas, create a new data type project from scratch.
• Opening an Existing Project
  Restore and work on previously saved projects.

Once you have a project, you can start defining your GLASS data type by Adding Components to a Project.
